Q3: For the people who don’t know about you, Can you tell us a little about yourself and your blog? 
A3: An active Food & Lifestyle Blogger for over 4 years now. Also a guest contributor for India's leading English mainline daily The New Indian Express, Bangalore. Earlier, I have been a guest author with PioneerChef.com and TownTrendz Magazine.

Q4: Every website has a story behind it. What was yours? What was the motivation behind starting this Blog?
A4: The whole idea behind starting this platform was:
1) Break the stereotype around blogging, do something out of the box.
2) Create experience for the readers. Have been part of the blogging industry for a long time now and today there is a clutter, everyone is doing the something. Hence, this platform was created keeping in mind the requirements of brands, i.e. interviews, releases, features, Social Media Campaigns, Video Interviews, etc
We just did not wanted to give a blog post to our readers and brands, we wanted to give an experience along.

Q5: Do you ever get stuck when writing a blog? What do you do then?
A5: Yes, it happens. Writing is not an easy job. You need to think, think and think while your are writing. And sometime you do get stuck. All I do is, pause for a while, make a cup of green tea, hit some music and get going.

Q6: If there was one thing that you feel makes your blog stand out, what would that be?
A6: We create experiences through our range of services unlike others.

Q7: If you had to few advice to newbie bloggers, what would that be?
A7:  Content is the King: In this world of clutter, you can only arrive a winner if you have a quality content. Invest time on your blog, research well on the topic, be sure of what you are writing.

Q8: Do you promote your blog? What promotional techniques work best for you and why?
A8: Since the time I have started blogging, I have used a very common platform to promote my blog: Facebook, Twitter. Other than this, I have been fortunate that my readers and audience really liked my blog and helped spread the word. This is the most genuine promotion which can turn tables. On Twitter, it is very important that you are very active and participate in group chats to the topic of your interest.

Q9: And Influencer Marketing – what it holds for bloggers? 
A9: I believe that Bloggers have a superpower - 'To Influence'. 65% of brands now run influencer campaigns and according to an infographic by The Shelf, 92% of consumers trust recommendations from other people—even if they don’t know them personally—over promotional content that comes directly from brands. And here is where Bloggers come in and play an important role in Influencer Marketing.

Q10: What do you find to be the most gratifying aspect of blogging? 
A10: Serving people with quality content. Nothing can be more gratifying than this.

Q11: Who has been your inspiration?
A11: Definitely my friend and brother Prateek Thakker, who is also a blogger. He is the one who pushed me to blog and made me fall in love with it. He has been a wonderful guide in every aspect of my life.

Q12: Engaging in influencer marketing is fruitful but most of the bloggers feel there are some characteristic problems while engaging with brands. How is your experience of engaging with brands and problems, if any?
A12: I have been associated with many brands in the past and had a wonderful experience. I understand where the gap is between a brand and bloggers - expectation from each other. I have seen brands who have no idea what they want from a blogger, lacks clear expectations but just wants them on board which later results in conflict. Same goes with bloggers, have clear expectations and communicate well.

Q13: Please let us know 1 to 2 features of Blogmint that you simply love.
A13: 1) The way it seamlessly bridges brands and bloggers/influencers.

Last year, Instagram has received quite a few new features. If we look back, Instagram kicked-off the year with introducing a black-and-white design & unveiling a new logo. Q1. For the people who don’t know about you, Can you tell us a little about yourself and your blog?
I'm Chaithra, An MBA Grad. in Finance, a former Banker, currently working as a Credit Analyst in Bangalore, India and a Certified Fashion Stylist from London College of Style, UK. You'll see bits and glimpses of everything here.

About Style.. A Pastiche!
'A Pastiche' in Italian, is a work of art that has been inspired by other artists, the French and Italian artists later on named Collage as a 'Pastiche'. So, Style to me is a Pastiche, an artful collage influenced by all things around you including your likes, your interpretation of all the fashion trends and your persona. Although, as a blogger I'm constantly exploring different styles; I have always found solace in the "Neo-Ethnic or Indian Moderne" trend.

Q2. Every website has a story behind it. What was yours? What was the motivation behind starting this Blog?
I'm passionate about Art, Photography, Fashion and Writing, so this blog is my way of expressing my love towards my passion.

Q3. Do you ever get stuck when writing a blog? What do you do then?
I do get stuck sometimes, that’s when I take a short break from writing. I either read a book or paint. Both of them have been a good source of inspiration

Q4. If there was one thing that you feel makes your blog stand out, what would that be?
Content and Photography I feel, makes my blog different from the others.

Q5. If you had to give three crazy advices to budding bloggers, what would that be?
I’d advise them to write their heart out, not listen to negative comments and not to plagiarize content, since it takes away the essence of blogging.

Q6. Do you promote your blog? What promotional techniques work best for you and why?
I do, mostly on Social media platforms Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. It is very important to reach your Target Group and these platforms help you do the same.

Q7. What do you find to be the most gratifying aspect of blogging?
Helping out readers in any way possible, is indeed gratifying.

Q8. And Influencer Marketing – what it holds for bloggers?
It would be a very important alternative for brands to reach their desired target group. For bloggers, it would be a great opportunity to test products from their favorite brands and increase awareness amongst their readers, while they could also give the brands important feedback.
