Q1: In which all influencer marketing campaigns have you participated on Blogmint?
  • Twitter
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • YouTube
  • Other
Q2: What is your primary category?
  • Fashion
  • Lifestyle
Q3: For the people who don’t know about you, Can you tell us a little about yourself and your blog?
A3: Yes, yet another beauty blogger. Just what the world needs :-| Duh-uh!

Q4: Every website has a story behind it. What was yours? What was the motivation behind starting this Blog?
A4: I taught that cow how to jump over the moon. So I decided to blog about it. But then, I made a nail art video instead, and kept going from there. Still going with the flow. Nothing is ever planned in my life. YouTube has always been one of those things. (That cow is not very happy though)

Q5: Do you ever get stuck when writing a blog? What do you do then?
A5:I make videos actually. And yes I get stuck all the time. Other times the camera runs out of battery. What I do? I ask my viewers for help and post bloopers. What's the point in taking things too seriously anyway? It's a creative job, might as well keep it real.

Q6: If there was one thing that you feel makes your blog stand out, what would that be?
A6: Like I said, keeping it real.

Q7: If you had to few advice to newbie bloggers, what would that be?
A7: Do what you enjoy. Don't do it for the fame or the money. The money takes forever to come and the fame really isn't going to make you a big celebrity. You will still fight with your hair dresser, and cry when the maid doesn't show up. And stop calling yourself a 'public figure'. It makes you look desperate.

Q8: Do you promote your blog? What promotional techniques work best for you and why?
A8: Social media shares. Keep them all integrated. All your posts and all your media. The idea should be that if someone stumbles upon your page, they get caught in a maze, and are not able to find way out of the spider web! Also, ask your followers to share. Really helps.

Q9: And Influencer Marketing – what it holds for bloggers?
A9: It's the future. So glad it is finally hitting the Indian market. The opportunities are endless!

Q10: What do you find to be the most gratifying aspect of blogging?
A10: I can do what I want - how I want, and be myself.

Q11: Who has been your inspiration?
A11: My own struggles in trying to find beauty advice and remedies. Requests that I get from my viewers. And then sometimes a random crazy idea hits me, so that too.

Q12: Engaging in influencer marketing is fruitful but most of the bloggers feel there are some characteristic problems while engaging with brands. How is your experience of engaging with brands and problems, if any?
A12: It's a new thing in India. Very new. The biggest challenge is making the brands understand that people love their bloggers - for who they are. No blogger can make a product sell, even have a popular blog post - by making it look like a TV commercial.

The audience today is more intelligent than that - why not acknowledge and respect them? Brands - if you hear me - Let your bloggers be! If they have fans, they must be doing something right. Trust them, they are the bridge between the consumers and advertisers that the world has needed for so so long.

Q13: Please let us know 1 to 2 features of Blogmint that you simply love.
A13: The personal touch. I love that the people are so hardworking and so actively involved. Keeps me motivated on the toughest of projects. Also, they care about doing the job well. Very fair and ethical. Thanks blogmint, for doing this right!
