The influencer marketing space has grown into a multibillion-dollar industry as per eMarketer and 90% of the marketers will run an influencer marketing campaign in the next 12 months as per a recent poll of 263 marketers in India by Blogmint.
Influencer marketing encompasses several steps to create branded
user-generated content that supports your digital marketing goals and 45% marketers find influencer marketing important because it is a medium for "Authentic Storytelling", 18% find it important because it is "More plugged into digital marketing", 15% said it provides"Better reach to consumers", 8% said "Alternative to traditional marketing " while other 8% find it important because it provides "Better ROI" and remaining 7% said it helps "To reach millennial's & centennial's".
The study also described the scenarios for engaging influencers when it
comes to promoting the brands. Brands are engaging influencers in the following order - Product Launch, Content Promotion, Content Creation followed by Events/ Webinars in the 4th
place.
According to the infographic, Twitter remains the favorite social media channel followed by Facebook & Blogs for influencer engagement.
