Blogmint, India’s first automated influencer marketing platform that connects brands with social influencers has recently come up with an extensive report on “Influencer Marketing Outlook 2016”. To provide insights to brand and influencers from an influencer perspective, blogmint conducted a survey with around 450 marketers. According to report 86 % of marketers will integrate influencer marketing as part of their marketing mix in 2016. In Today's era twitter trending campaigns and blogs are the most effective campaigns for influencer marketing, while identifying the right influencers continues to be the key challenge for marketers. Content promotion and product launch are the top use cases for influencer engagement, according to the report.
It takes a lot of time and hard work to develop a blog and gain a readership. For most bloggers, this dedication needs to be justified by providing a stable income. Blog monetization is must for bloggers to show their presence in market. Monetization won’t even come into the picture until you get your basics right. You’d need to market your blog just as you’d market your business. The survey was conducted with 222 people , for the bloggers the report stated that 68% of bloggers are monetizing their blog in someway or other .
For the influencers the Report stated that out of around 67% of total influencers who are engaged in marketing , 68% influencers are monetizing their social presense using reviews, 67% influencers are monetizing their social presence using surveys, 49% influencers are monetizing their social presence using affiliated marketing , 47% influencers are monetizing their social preence using contests, and 44% influencers are monetizing their social presence using Google adsense .
The report also stated that around 65% percent of the marketers who engaged in influencer marketing in 2015 found it effective and motivating to collaberate with brand . Further breaking down these numbers, the report claimed that 86% of marketers found influencer marketing effective for brand awareness , 82% of marketers found influencer marketing effective to produce quality content , 81% of marketers found influencer marketing effective to earn money, 70% of marketers found influencer marketing effective to imporve their image in market, and only 54 % of marketers found influencer marketing to receive freebies and stuff. Also 3 million Facebook posts, 347,000 Tweets, 300,000 videos or pictures on Snapchat and 20 million messages are shared on Whatsapp per minute. With the bombarding of social content, consumers are looking to segregate noise to expert opinions which they can trust," stated the report.The Influencer Marketing Outlook 2016 is based on participation of 427 marketers. The representation was 33 per cent from large enterprises, 38 per cent from medium sized companies and 29 per cent from small and medium busines markets.
